
Here is a beautiful and rare boxed specimen of the Marlin 1881 loader. This example is in 40-60, the most common caliber recorded in the tool database so far. The box for this one has an interesting scrolled surface as shown in the image. The powder measure and decapping pin are original as well. Note the slot cut in the decapping pin, presumably to allow replacement of the actual pin, which is peened into place.
