General B. F. Butler purchased Ethan Allen & Co. in 1872 establishing the U. S. Cartridge Co. in Lowell, Massachusetts. In 1911 the National Lead Co. would take control of the U. S. Ctg. Co. and in 1926 it was purchased by Winchester. Here are two examples of their crimpers in 10 gauge.
