Here is a massive and unusual mold. It casts 20 round balls of about 45 caliber with the sprue cutter operating on both sides of the mold. It is marked "V. Bessy" and there are what look like stylized "B"'s stamped onto each handle. The overall length is 21.5" with the mold blocks measuring 7" x 1 3/8" x 1 1/4". The overall appearance suggests a mold of continental European manufacture...perhaps of French or Belgium manufacture. Anyone with information about this mold or "V. Bessy" is invited to submit it.
