Here is one of the gold finished tools and what a beauty! This one, again for the 44 Winchester, has much original finish remaining. It bears no markings other than the patent date (PAT OCT 20, 1874) which is cast into the top of the handle near the hinge. These tools are very hard to find and to find one in such fine condition is a rare treat. And here is another gold finished one in very fine condition!!
