Here is a nice boxed example of the 3rd type of 1880 tool with the adjustable seating chamber. This example is in 40-82; the original box is also shown. The bottom panel shows the "claw-like" extensions of the frame which were used to extract the loaded cartridge from the seating chamber. These tools usually do not show the "inspection" or "observation" ports which are commonly seen with the 1882 tools.
